Description of Win-SSI

The following screen shots give you a feeling for the capabilities of Win-SSI.

However, you can only really appreciate the power of this package by downloading an evaluation demo.  The quickest way to appreciate the power of Win-SSI is to see a demo but we have prepared the following list of screen captures just in case you'd prefer to read something before you contact us.

Creating a new project Win-SSI asks for appropriate program units and then creates the hierarchy of directories containing input files, output files and QA tracking which shows whether the files have been moved or manually modified.

Next you can start to enter soil data, layer by layer.  This can either be entered manually or cut and pasted from the windows clipboard.  These properties apply to all foundations on the site.  Bounds can automatically be created from a best estimate profile saving time in input.

Win-SSI can then generate a colour coded plot for you to quickly check your data visually.  This can be used to see all the major parameters defining the SSI problem.

After entering foundation data (either manually or by cutting and pasting from a spreadsheet) you can plot the foundations to verify their layout and check that they all lie within the circle of validity.
