We have now been carrying out soil structure interaction analyses for
over ten years using the CLASSI technique. This program was developed by Wong and
Luco in the early 1980's and offers a computationally efficient way of analysing
soil structure interaction problems. The soil is represented using
boundary elements and structures are represented using finite elements. Multiple
foundations can be represented and the interaction between them determined,
either as a result of external loads such as earthquakes or local loading such
as trains passing.
If you require any assistance with carrying out analyses using Win-SSI we
offer a consultancy service on an hourly, daily or fixed price basis.
We are happy to either assist you in understanding and using Win-SSI or we
can run your problem in house.
