Win-SSI is based upon the CLASSI
(Continuum Linear Analysis of Soil Structure Interaction) technique.
Although this program was never released into the public domain we have
obtained permission from the USNRC (United States Nuclear Regulatory
Commission) to develop and sell its sequel SMACS. This has been renamed
Win-SSI and is a computer code which builds upon CLASSI and SMACS and then
adds some further capabilities which have been described below.
